National Junior Pickleball is proud to partner with Life Time Rochester Hills and Life Time Shelby Township to host NJP Great Lakes junior tournament featuring a Clinic & Evaluation, Gender Singles Competition and Co-Ed Doubles Competition! Get ready for an incredible weekend of competition, community, and lots of pickleball fun!
Registration Fee: $75 (through 3/30)
Late Registration Fee: $90 (3/31-4/6)

All Inclusive Registration Fee: With a single registration fee, players gain entry to Skills Clinic, Gender Singles Competition and Co-Ed Doubles Competition. All players will also receive an event t-shirt.
The top three finishers in every age/skill division and event will receive a medal.
Age divisions are assigned based on the players age on the FIRST DAY of the tournament.
Doubles events are Co-Ed, meaning boys and girls compete together and can be the same gender or mixed gender of any combination.
Doubles teams will play to the division of the oldest/highest skilled partner.
Divisions may be combined at the discretion of NJP to optimize player experience, based on final registration numbers.
Each event will be round robin pool play with playoff rounds. Every player will play a minimum of four games.
All players must have a (free) DUPR account before the start of the tournament. All singles and doubles matches are reported to DUPR.
No partner? No problem! Many players, if not most, come to NJP with no partner or team in advance! NJP has a proven system designed to allow players to meet and get to know each other before committing to a partnership or team. Learn more about finding a partner in our FAQ section.

Singles Divisions (Gender- Boys & Girls)
Girls 8-12 Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced
Girls 13-16 Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced
Boys 8-12 Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced
Boys 13-16 Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced
Co-Ed Doubles Divisions (two players, any gender combination)
Co-Ed 8-12 Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced
Co-Ed 13-16 Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced
Recreational – No DUPR – 2.89 DUPR
Familiar with the rules of pickleball and side out scoring. Has played recreationally with friends and family. Can reliably hit the ball over the net and into the court.
Intermediate – 2.9-3.50 DUPR
Experience in local league and/or local tournament play. Has the ability to hit basic shots (dink, drop, drive, serve, overhead) on a
consistent basis.
Advanced – 3.51+
Can execute all skills with consistency and has advanced strategy knowledge. Competitive tournament experience in local, regional and national tournament tours.
Appealing your DUPR skill level
If you believe your DUPR is not accurate and would like to be considered for a different division, email registration@nationaljuniorpickleball.com with reasons for appeal. Players will be required to attend Friday clinic session to confirm placement. Any change in skill level (up or down) will be at the discretion of Evaluators and Tournament Director with the goal of providing the best overall experience to all players. DUPR ratings will be validated before the skills & evaluation sessions.
