All Inclusive Registration Fee for FOUR events: With a single registration fee, players gain entry to all events, including the Evaluation & Skills Clinic, Singles, Doubles, and a thrilling 4-player Team Competition. All players will also receive an event t-shirt, swag bag, and LOTS of pickleball play!

This Juniors-Only tournament is open to players aged 8-18 of all skill levels and will have a clinic & evaluation session (evening day 1), singles competition (day 2), doubles competition (day 3) and 4-player Team Competition (day 4).
Each division follows a round-robin format, leading to playoffs and medal rounds, so every player gets lots of play!
Prizes for Age/Skill Advanced Division in Singles or Doubles
The top three finishers in every age/skill division and event will receive a medal.
Doubles and Team events are Co-Ed, meaning boys and girls compete together and can be the same gender or mixed gender of any combination (example a team can have 3 boys and 1 girl OR 4 girls OR 2 boys 2 girls, or any other combination).
All players must have a (free) DUPR account before the start of the tournament. All singles and doubles matches are reported to DUPR, however Team Competition matches will NOT be reported.
The Franklin X-40 is the official ball of National Junior Pickleball tournaments.
All events are included in the registration fee. Players may choose to withdraw from any event you cannot participate in, but to get the full benefit of the tournament weekend, we HIGHLY encourage attendance at all events.

5/3 Saturday – Doubles Competition (8:00 am Check in, Start times vary)
5/4 Sunday – 4 player Team Competition (8:00 am Check in, ALL teams begin at 9:00 am)
No partner? No problem! Many players, if not most, come to NJP with no partner or team in advance! NJP has a proven system designed to allow players to meet and get to know each other before committing to a partnership or team. Learn more about finding a partner in our FAQ section.
NJP events are thoughtfully designed for Juniors to compete against players of similar age AND skill levels, ensuring an exciting and balanced experience.
Age Groups
Ages 8-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18
Skill Level Definitions
Recreational – No DUPR – 2.89 DUPR
Familiar with the rules of pickleball and side out scoring. Has played recreationally with friends and family. Can reliably hit the ball over
the net and into the court.
Intermediate – 2.9-3.50 DUPR
Experience in local league and/or local tournament play. Has the ability to hit basic shots (dink, drop, drive, serve, overhead) on a
consistent basis.
Advanced – 3.51+
Can execute all skills with consistency and has advanced strategy knowledge. Competitive tournament experience in local, regional and national tournament tours.
** If you believe your DUPR is not accurate and would like to be considered for a different division, email registration@nationaljuniorpickleball.com with reasons for appeal. Players will be required to attend Thursday evaluation session. Any change in skill level (up or down) will be at the discretion of Evaluators and Tournament Director with the goal of providing the best overall experience to all players. DUPR ratings will be validated before the skills & evaluation sessions. **
To provide an optimal environment, we offer a variety of subdivisions for registration, but please note that any group with fewer than five participants may be combined with another closely matched age or skill division.
