NJP TRAINING CAMPS

More Than Tournaments

Train with purpose, improve your skills, and build confidence through NJP camps and development opportunities.

NJP Camps provide junior players with focused, high-quality training designed to accelerate improvement in a fun, structured, and competitive environment.

Built for a range of ages and skill levels, NJP Camps combine technical instruction, skill-based drilling, strategy development, and guided gameplay so athletes can turn practice into real match results.

Whether a player is building the foundations of the game or sharpening advanced tools for higher-level competition, NJP Camps help juniors grow with purposeful coaching, strong training habits, and plenty of time on court.

Camps vs. Bootcamps

NJP offers Camps for tournament prep and skill-based development, as well as Bootcamps. Each designed with a different type of player and training goal in mind.

NJP Camps

Level-based development | Ages 10-18 | Skill Level 2.5-5.5

NJP Camps are focused on strengthening foundations, while exposing junior athletes to new technical skills and concepts. Your athlete leaves better than they arrived, and you leave knowing exactly where they stand.

Weekend Camps

  • Stand alone camp
  • Three days (11 hours) of level-based training
  • No school missed and you’re home Sunday afternoon.

Friday Evening – Evaluation & Open Play (2 hours)

  • Players meet their coaches and get on court. Coaches use the evening to see where every athlete stands, so training can begin Saturday.

Saturday — Full Day Training (6 hours)

  • Three hours in the morning, an open lunch window, three hours in the afternoon.

Sunday morning — Training (3 hours)

  • A final training block, then camp closes with the certificate ceremony and each athlete’s written player assessment.

Tournament Camps

  • Held in conjunction with an NJP Regional tournament, at the same facility, your athlete walks into the tournament prepared instead of hoping.
  • Three afternoon/evenings (9 hours) of level-based training mid-week camps
  • Perfect if you want to explore during the day or for local players in school.
  • Signing up with tournament doubles partner and/or teammates is highly encouraged.

Day 1 Evening — Evaluation & Open Play (2 hours)

  • Players meet their coaches and get on court. Coaches use the evening to see where every athlete stands, so training can begin Saturday.

Day 2 Afternoon — Training (4 hours)

  • On-court training block.
  • Dinner provided, along with a quick break to refuel.

Day 3 Eventing — Training (3 hours)

  • A final training block, then the certificate ceremony and written player assessments.
  • This takes place at the same time as NJP Regional Open Play (do not sign up for both).

NJP Bootcamps

Bootcamps emphasize high-level drilling, competitive gameplay, discipline, mental toughness, and the habits required to perform at the highest levels of junior pickleball. Athletes are coached hard, held to the highest standard on and off the court, and asked for more than most of them have been asked for before. It will be intense and it will be tough on many players but can be transformative to the right player.

  • Day 1 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Day 2 | 8:45 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Day 3 | 8:45 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Day 4 | 8:45 AM – 8:45 PM
  • Day 5 | 8:45 AM – 12:30 PM

See Bootcamp specific page for detailed training and activity schedule.

NJP reserves the right to make adjustments to the training schedule, activities, and session order as needed to provide the best possible player experience.
