Train with purpose
Held in conjunction with an NJP Regional tournament, at the same facility, your athlete walks into the tournament prepared instead of hoping.
Camps provide junior players with focused, high-quality training designed to accelerate improvement in a fun, structured, and competitive environment.
Built for a range of ages and skill levels, NJP Camps combine technical instruction, skill-based drilling, strategy development, and guided gameplay so athletes can turn practice into real match results.
- NJP Camps are level based training for juniors ages 10-18, DUPR 2.5-4.5.
- Three days, 9 hours of level-based training during tournament week
- Training is in the evenings so families can explore the city and local players don’t miss school
- Signing up with tournament doubles partner and/or teammates is highly encouraged.

Payment & Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve a player’s spot. Cancellations made 15–30 days before camp will receive a 50% refund of total tuition. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 14 days or less before camp.
Schedule of Events
Tues 12/29 | 5:00-7:00 pm | Evaluation & Open Play
- Players meet their coaches and get on court. Coaches use the evening to see where every athlete stands, so training can begin the next day.
Weds 12/30 | 4:00-8:00 pm | On-Court Training Block & Dinner
- On-court training block. Pizza dinner provided, along with a quick break to refuel.
Thurs 12/31 | 4:00-7:00 pm | Training & Player Assessments
- A final training block, then the certificate ceremony and written player assessments.
- This takes place at the same time as NJP Regional Open Play (do not sign up for both).

These coaches have trained pros and amateurs around the world. At Bootcamp, they’re focused on one thing: developing you.
Ben McNair, PhD — NJP Academy Director
Ben brings 16 years of high-performance racquet and paddle coaching to every session, backed by a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and deep expertise in biomechanics, physiology, and kinesiology. He has a rare ability to identify exactly what’s holding a player back — and fix it. He currently plays professionally and coaches clinics for Pickleball Getaways under Ben Johns and Dekel Bar. He brings the science and the receipts. At NJP Bootcamp, his precision meets his passion.
Ben began coaching in 2010 and has worked with juniors, collegiate athletes, and adults ever since. Alongside his PhD, he holds a master’s in Kinesiology and a degree in Exercise Science, and served as a postdoctoral researcher before moving to coaching full time. He is also an RPO clinician. Ben leads every NJP Camp personally — he is on court for every session, every day.
Supporting Coaching Staff
Ben is joined by additional NJP coaches selected for each Bootcamp — competitive pro players and experienced instructors who keep the athlete-to-coach ratio low and give every player more eyes on their game.
NJP Coaches are setting the gold standard for what junior pickleball coaching can be. You will leave this camp a different player than when you arrived.
